Erik de Jong

Erik de JongErik understands the pressures and expectations of executives in large corporations. He worked with The Coca-Cola Company and subsidiaries in Europe, USA and Australia for 10 years. His experience spans a variety of roles in sales and marketing, operations, and general management, up to the level of national director of sales.

His in-depth knowledge of change management and sales force transformation comes from direct experience. At Coca-Cola, Erik delivered results in high level commercial negotiations, resolved emotionally charged union and internal issues. He also structured, implemented and facilitated major change programmes.

Erik has an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management in The Netherlands, with a major in marketing from Kellogg Graduate School of Management in Illinois, USA. He holds a postgraduate Diploma in Counselling from the Australian College of Applied Psychology, with an emphasis on performance psychology.

The combination of practical management experience and the solid foundation in counselling, allows Erik to facilitate people to excel in business performance. He selects and teaches only those insights in people development that make a difference in allowing executives to be more effective leaders, and create more successful organisations.

Erik has worked with clients in Singtel Optus, Merrill Lynch, Pacific Brands, Saatchi & Saatchi, Accor Hotel Group (Novotel, Mercure, Ibis), Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels, McGrath Real Estate, and with various individual clients.

Erik is registered with and works in accordance with the code of conduct of the Counsellors and Psychotherapists Association New South Wales, affiliated with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation Australia. He also works within the ethical code of the International Coach Federation.
